How to Track Strategy Performance

Overview​

Monitor and analyze the performance of each trading strategy over time.

Steps​

1. Go to Strategy Board​

Navigate to Strategy Board page

2. Select Strategy​

  1. Click on strategy card
  2. Strategy performance page opens
  3. View complete statistics

3. View Performance Metrics​

Key Statistics Shown:

  • Total Trades: Count using this strategy
  • Win Rate: % profitable trades
  • Total P&L: Net profit/loss
  • Average Win/Loss: Avg profit and loss amounts
  • Risk-Reward Ratio: Actual vs target
  • Largest Win/Loss: Best and worst trades
  • Profit Factor: Wins/Losses ratio

4. Analyze Performance Chart​

View visual representations:

  • Equity Curve: P&L over time
  • Win Rate Trend: Performance trends
  • Trade Distribution: Wins vs losses
  • Monthly Breakdown: Month-by-month results

Strategy Card Display​

Each strategy shows:

  • Strategy name and description
  • Status (Active, Testing, Paused)
  • Quick stats summary
  • Color-coded performance
  • Last trade date

Detailed Analytics​

Trade Breakdown​

  • By Outcome: Winners, Losers, Breakeven
  • By Size: Small, Medium, Large trades
  • By Duration: Intraday, Swing, Position
  • By Market: Bull, Bear, Sideways

Time Analysis​

  • Best Days: Day of week performance
  • Best Time: Time of day success
  • Duration: Avg holding time
  • Consistency: Regular execution

Traffic Light System​
