Quickstart Guide

This guide will get you from zero to your first analyzed trade in just 10 minutes. Follow these steps in order, and you'll have your trading data imported, organized, and ready for insights.

What you'll accomplish:

  • ✅ Create your account
  • ✅ Connect your broker OR upload trades
  • ✅ View your first dashboard
  • ✅ Add your first journal entry
  • ✅ Ask Elysia AI your first question

You’ll do: Create account → Import trades → View dashboard → Journal a trade → Ask Elysia

1️⃣ Create Your Account (2 min)​

  1. Go to app.tradelyser.com/signup
  2. Enter your name, email, and password
  3. Verify your email → Log in
  4. (Optional) Complete your profile:
    • Experience level
    • Trading style
    • Language
    • Timezone (auto: IST)

✅ You’re in!

2️⃣ Import Your Trades (choose one)​

A. Auto-Sync (Recommended – 5 min)​

For Zerodha, Dhan, Fyers, Upstox, Angel One, etc.

  • Go to Accounts → + Add Account
  • Choose your broker → Auto-Sync
  • Name your account → choose calculation (FIFO/LIFO/WA)
  • Enter credentials → Authorize → wait 1–2 minutes

B. CSV Upload (3 min)​

  • Export trade history from your broker as CSV
  • In TradeLyser: Accounts → + Add Account → File Upload
  • Choose broker or “Generic CSV”
  • Upload → confirm mapping → Import

C. Manual Entry (2 min)​

  • Accounts → + Add Account → Manual Entry
  • Go to Trades → + Add Trade
  • Enter: Symbol, Entry/Exit, Qty, Prices → Save

✅ Trades added!

3️⃣ View Your Dashboard (1 min)​

  • Go to Dashboard
  • See key metrics: P&L, Win Rate, Profit Factor, Trades
  • View Equity Curve, P&L Distribution, Performance Calendar
  • Filter by date or account

✅ Your first stats are live!

4️⃣ Journal Your First Trade (2 min)​

  • Go to Trades → select a trade
  • Add Tags (e.g., Breakout, NIFTY)
  • Add Rating (A+ to D)
  • Add Notes (“Followed plan, exited early”)
  • (Optional) Attach screenshot → Save

✅ Your first journal entry is done!

5️⃣ Ask Elysia AI (1 min)​

  • Open Elysia
  • Type:
    • “What’s my win rate this month?”
    • “Show me my biggest loss.”
    • “Compare intraday vs swing.”
  • Press Enter → Elysia gives instant insights
