How to Edit or Archive a Strategy

Overviewโ€‹

Update strategy rules, pause trading, or archive outdated strategies.

Steps to Edit Strategyโ€‹

1. Open Strategyโ€‹

  1. Go to Strategy Board
  2. Click on strategy to edit

2. Enter Edit Modeโ€‹

  1. Click "Edit Strategy" button
  2. Strategy editor opens
  3. All fields editable

3. Make Changesโ€‹

Update any of:

  • Strategy name
  • Description
  • Entry rules
  • Exit rules
  • Risk management
  • Position sizing
  • Goals and targets
  • Checklist items

4. Save Changesโ€‹

  1. Click "Save Changes"
  2. Confirmation message
  3. Strategy updated

Strategy is updated with new rules.

Steps to Archive Strategyโ€‹

1. Open Strategy Menuโ€‹

  1. Click three dots (โ‹ฎ) on strategy card
  2. Or open strategy and click menu

2. Select Archiveโ€‹

  1. Click "Archive Strategy"
  2. Confirmation dialog appears
  3. Optionally add reason

3. Confirm Archiveโ€‹

  1. Click "Archive" button
  2. Strategy moved to archive
  3. No longer visible in active list

Restore Archived Strategyโ€‹

Un-archiveโ€‹

  1. Go to "Archived Strategies" view
  2. Find strategy
  3. Click "Restore"
  4. Back to active board

Delete Strategyโ€‹

Permanent Deletionโ€‹

โš ๏ธ Warning: Cannot be undone

  1. Archive strategy first
  2. In archived view, click "Delete"
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. All data removed

Use only if:

  • Never plan to use again
  • Want to clean up
  • Made by mistake
