How to Delete Your Tradelyser Account

Overview​

Permanently delete your account and all associated data.

⚠️ Before You Delete​

This Action is Permanent​

  • All your trades data will be deleted
  • All journal entries will be removed
  • All strategies and notes will be lost
  • Cannot be undone or recovered
  • Active subscriptions will be cancelled

Consider Alternatives​

  • Cancel subscription instead of deleting account
  • Export your data before deletion
  • Contact support if you have issues

Steps​

1. Export Your Data First​

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts
  2. Click "Export All Data"
  3. Save the downloaded file securely

2. Cancel Active Subscriptions​

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription" if you have an active plan
  3. Complete cancellation process

3. Navigate to Account Deletion​

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Scroll to bottom - "Danger Zone" section
  3. Click "Delete Account"

4. Confirm Deletion​

  1. Read the warning message carefully
  2. Type "DELETE" in the confirmation box
  3. Enter your password
  4. Check box: "I understand this cannot be undone"
  5. Click "Permanently Delete My Account"

5. Final Email Confirmation​

  1. Check your email for deletion confirmation link
  2. Click the link to complete deletion
  3. Your account will be deleted within 24 hours

Success!​

Your account deletion request is submitted.

What Gets Deleted?​

Immediately​

❌ Login access removed
❌ Active sessions terminated
❌ Subscription cancelled

Within 24 Hours​

❌ All personal information
❌ All trades and positions
❌ All journal entries
❌ All strategies and notes
❌ All settings and preferences
❌ All uploaded files

What Remains (Legally Required)​

✅ Transaction receipts (for taxes)
✅ Billing records (as per law)
✅ Support tickets (anonymized)

Cancellation Window​

⏰ 30 minutes to cancel deletion request
📧 Email will contain cancellation link
🔄 After 30 mins, deletion is irreversible
