Win Rate Explained

Formula

Win Rate = (Winning Trades ÷ Total Trades) × 100

Interpretation

  • 70%+: Excellent (rare, be cautious)
  • 50-70%: Good (sustainable)
  • 40-50%: Average (need good R:R)
  • Below 40%: Needs improvement

Win Rate vs Profitability

Important Truth

High win rate ≠ Profitable
Low win rate can be profitable

What Matters: Win rate × R:R ratio
