How to Add Tags to Trades

Overview​

Organize and categorize trades using tags for better analysis.

What are Tags?​

Purpose​

🏷️ Categorize by strategy
🏷️ Mark setups (Breakout, Support, etc.)
🏷️ Identify patterns
🏷️ Group related trades
🏷️ Track experiments

Steps​

1. Open Trade​

  1. Go to Trades page
  2. Click on trade to open details

2. Find Tags Section​

Scroll to "Tags" field

3. Add Tags​

Option A: Select existing

  1. Click "Add Tag"
  2. Select from your tags list
  3. Tag applied instantly

Option B: Create new

  1. Type new tag name
  2. Press Enter or click "Create"
  3. New tag created and applied

4. Save (if needed)​

  • Tags usually save automatically
  • Or click "Save" button

Success!​

Trade is now tagged and organized.

Bulk Tagging​

Tag Multiple Trades​

  1. Select trades (checkboxes)
  2. Click "Bulk Actions" > "Add Tags"
  3. Select/create tags
  4. Apply to all selected

Managing Tags​

View All Tags​

  1. Go to Settings > Tag Management
  2. See all your tags
  3. Edit, merge, or delete tags

Tag Colors​

  • Assign colors to tags
  • Visual organization
  • Quick identification

  • See trades per tag
  • Tag performance
  • Win rate by tag

Filtering by Tags​

Find Tagged Trades​

  1. Use tag filter on Trades page
  2. Select one or more tags
  3. View only tagged trades
  4. Analyze tag performance

Quick Tips​

  • Tag trades immediately
  • Use consistent naming
  • Create tags as needed
  • Limit to 5-7 tags per trade
  • Review and clean unused tags
