How to Filter Trades by Date Range
Overview
View trades from specific time periods for focused analysis.
Steps
1. Locate Date Filter
- Go to Trades page
- Find date range picker in header/toolbar

2. Click Date Picker
- Click on current date range button
- Calendar dropdown opens

3. Choose Quick Preset
Select from common ranges:
- Today - Current day
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 30 Days
- This Month - Month to date
- Last Month - Previous month
- This Year - Year to date
- All Time - Complete history

4. Or Select Custom Range
For specific dates:
- Click "Custom Range"
- Click start date on calendar
- Click end date on calendar
- Click "Apply"

5. View Filtered Trades
- Trades list updates
- Shows only trades in selected period
- Summary recalculates
- Count updates

Date + Symbol:
- Set date range first
- Then filter by symbol
- See specific stock in period

- Set date range

Clear Date Filter
Reset to All Time
- Click date picker
- Select "All Time"
- Or click "Clear Filter" ❌
Date Display Format
Format: DD/MM/YYYY
- Indian date format
- Example: 30/10/2024
- Consistent across app

- Fixed period
- Doesn't change

No trades in range? Trades may not exist for that period
Filter not applying? Click Apply button
Wrong dates showing? Check timezone
Can't select future dates? Only past/today allowed
