How to Add Notes/Reviews to Trades

Steps​

1. Open Trade​

  1. Go to Trades page
  2. Click trade to add notes

2. Find Notes Section​

Scroll to "Notes" or "Review" field

3. Write Your Notes​

  1. Click in text area
  2. Type your observations
  3. Can be as detailed as needed
  4. Supports multiple paragraphs

4. Save Notes​

  1. Click "Save" button
  2. Or auto-saves as you type (some versions)

Success!​

Trade notes are saved.

What to Include in Notes​

Entry Analysis​

  • Why did I take this trade?
  • What was the setup?
  • What was market context?
  • Entry trigger signal

During Trade​

  • How did I feel?
  • Any news/events?
  • Price action observations
  • Management decisions

Exit Analysis​

  • Why did I exit?
  • Target hit or stopped?
  • Did I follow plan?
  • What could I improve?

Learnings​

  • What worked well?
  • What went wrong?
  • Key takeaway
  • Action for next time

Note Templates​

Use Templates​

  1. Go to Settings > Note Templates
  2. Create reusable templates
  3. Quick insert into trades
  4. Ensure consistency

Common Templates:

  • Entry checklist
  • Exit review
  • Setup analysis

  • Perfect execution

Rich Text Formatting​

Some versions support:

  • Bold and italic
  • Bullet points
  • Numbered lists
  • Headings
  • Links

Quick Tips​

  • Add notes immediately after trade

Search Notes​

Find by Content​

  1. Use search on Trades page
  2. Searches notes content
  3. Find trades by keywords
  4. Example: Search "FOMO" to find emotional trades

Note Privacy​

  • Notes are private
  • Only visible to you
  • Not shared (unless mentee access)
  • Secure storage

Bulk Notes​

Add Notes to Multiple Trades​

  1. Select trades
  2. Bulk Actions > "Add Review"
  3. Type common note
  4. Applied to all selected

Voice Notes (Future)​

Some versions may support:

  • Voice to text
  • Audio notes
  • Easier mobile entry
