How to Manage Email Notification Settings

Overview​

Control which email notifications you receive from Tradelyser.

Steps​

1. Go to Email Settings​

Navigate to Settings > Notification Settings > Email tab

2. Enable/Disable Email Types​

Trading Emails:

  • Daily trading summary
  • Weekly performance report
  • Trade sync notifications
  • Import completion alerts

Account Emails:

  • Security alerts (recommended)
  • Login notifications
  • Password changes
  • Account updates

Marketing Emails:

  • Product updates
  • Feature announcements
  • Tips and tutorials
  • Special offers

3. Set Digest Frequency​

Choose consolidation:

  • Real-time: As they happen
  • Daily Digest: Once per day (9:00 AM)
  • Weekly Digest: Every Monday
  • Off: No emails

4. Customize Email Time​

For digest emails:

  • Set preferred time
  • Choose timezone (IST)
  • Best time to receive

5. Save Settings​

Click "Save Email Preferences"

Success!​

Email notifications configured to your preference.

Email Categories​

Critical Emails (Always Enabled)​

🔒 Security:

  • Login from new device
  • Password changed
  • 2FA status
  • Suspicious activity

🔒 Account:

  • Subscription changes
  • Payment issues
  • Account status

Cannot disable - For your safety

Optional Emails​

Can disable per preference

Email Frequency​

Manage Volume​

Too many emails?

  • Switch to daily digest
  • Disable non-critical
  • Weekly instead of daily

Too few emails?

  • Enable more categories
  • Real-time instead of digest
  • Check spam folder

Email Format​

Plain Text vs HTML​

HTML Emails (Default):

  • Formatted nicely
  • Charts and images
  • Clickable buttons
  • Better readability

Plain Text:

  • Simple text only
  • Faster loading
  • Email client compatible
  • Privacy-focused

Unsubscribe​

Stop All Marketing​

Quick unsubscribe:

  1. Click link in any email
  2. Or go to settings
  3. Disable all marketing
  4. Keep critical only

Whitelist Sender​

Ensure Delivery​

Add to safe senders:

  • no-reply@tradelyser.com
  • notifications@tradelyser.com
  • support@tradelyser.com

Prevents spam filtering.

Email Delivery Issues​

Not Receiving Emails?​

Check:

  1. Spam/junk folder
  2. Email address correct
  3. Inbox not full
  4. Provider not blocking

Fix:

  • Whitelist sender
  • Check spam settings
  • Verify email in profile
  • Test with Send Test Email

Daily Summary Email​

Daily Digest:

  • Day's P&L

Sent: 9:00 AM next day (configurable)

  • English (default)

Multiple Email Addresses​

Add Secondary Email​

For important alerts:

  • Primary email
  • Secondary email (backup)
  • Work email
