How to View Sync History

Overview​

Track all broker synchronization activities and troubleshoot sync issues.

Steps​

1. Navigate to Sync History​

Go to Settings > Sync History

2. View Sync Log​

See complete history:

  • Date and time of sync
  • Account synced
  • Sync status (Success/Failed)
  • Trades imported count
  • Duration
  • Error messages (if any)

3. Filter Sync History​

Filter by:

  • Account
  • Date range
  • Status (Success/Failed/In Progress)
  • Sync type (Auto/Manual)

4. View Sync Details​

Click on any sync entry:

  • Complete log
  • Trades imported
  • Errors encountered
  • Processing time
  • API calls made

Success!​

You're viewing complete sync history.

Sync Status Types​

Success (🟒)​

  • βœ… Completed successfully
  • Trades imported
  • No errors
  • All good

Failed (πŸ”΄)​

  • ❌ Sync failed
  • Error message shown
  • No trades imported
  • Needs attention

Partial (🟑)​

  • ⚠️ Some trades imported
  • Some errors
  • Incomplete sync
  • Review needed

In Progress (πŸ”΅)​

  • πŸ”„ Currently syncing
  • Please wait
  • Don't refresh

Sync Information​

Each Entry Shows​

Basic Info:

  • Timestamp
  • Account name
  • Sync trigger (Auto/Manual)

Results:

  • Total trades found
  • New trades imported
  • Duplicates skipped
  • Errors count

Performance:

  • Duration (seconds)
  • API calls made
  • Data processed

Troubleshooting Failed Syncs​

View Error Details​

Click failed sync:

  • Error message
  • Error code
  • Suggested fix
  • Retry option

Common Errors:

  • Connection expired
  • Invalid credentials
  • Broker API down
  • Rate limit exceeded
  • Network timeout

Retry Failed Sync​

Retry Option​

For failed syncs:

  1. Click "Retry" button
  2. Attempts sync again
  3. Check if successful
  4. Review any new errors

Sync Patterns​

Analyze Sync Behavior​

Look for:

  • Frequent failures
  • Time-based issues
  • Specific account problems
  • Pattern of errors

Auto-Sync Schedule​

View Sync Schedule​

See when auto-syncs run:

  • Frequency setting
  • Next scheduled sync
  • Last successful sync
  • Sync enabled/disabled

Export Sync History​

Download Log​

  1. Select date range
  2. Click "Export History"
  3. CSV or PDF
  4. For records/support

Notifications​

  • Daily summary

Sync Data Volume​

Track Data Synced​

View total:

  • Trades imported all-time
  • Data volume (MB)
  • API calls made
  • Bandwidth used

Clear History​

Delete Old Logs​

  1. Select date range
  2. Click "Clear History"
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. Old logs removed

Keeps: Last 90 days automatically

  • Check after each manual sync
  • Review if trades missing
  • Monitor success rate
  • Contact support if frequent failures
  • Keep history for troubleshooting
